Nukh:
One of the largest Sindhi Amil family trees is the ADVANI tree. Several descendants had done research work into on this tree and some of it will be presented in these pages at a later date.

One of the uniqueness of the Advanis is that the took up the Sikh religion and were instrumental in the growth of the worship of Guru Nanak and Guru Gobind amongst the Sindhis.

The second feature worth pointing out was that they added the name "Singh" to their given names. e.g. Bhagsingh, Mohansingh, etc. I have chosen these two names, because I know that Late Bhagsingh Advani ( One of the founders of Blue Star - India ) did extensive genealogical research into the Advani name.
